I have been a member of the Beau Monde, an online Regency writers group associated with RWA, for many years. They have used Delicious to book mark sites of historical interest to the group. It cuts down on search time and eliminates combing through all the bad hits to find the nuggets of gold. The time saving element when conducting historical research is invaluable.
I can see a library using it to bookmark sites of local and regional interest, or subjects that keep coming up at individual libraries. At WM we could bookmark sites geared to elementary and middle school since our after school patrons all come from the nearby schools. It could eliminate the need for subject listings on our web page thereby saving space.
